What will be in SWTOR 10th anniversary?

Here are my thoughts as to what it could include...

So, as we know, the creator of Star Wars: The Old Republic™ teased plans for the game's 10th birthday back in February. He said that what he has planned will "be the biggest thing since launch." But that's all there was to say, being nothing is confirmed only the fact something huge is coming. Now, some skeptics may say that it'll be a letdown, that we may just get a free pet or something very underwhelming, but like most, I am hopeful for what's to come. I did some research on what the most popular/anticipated ideas are, so let's dive in!

New Expansion

Ok, so I'm all for cool expansions that they have released. My favorite is Shadow of Revan. HOWEVER, if something big really is planned, I wouldn't want just some other expansion. Although I'd be happy to have one, I feel like for such a big milestone, this wouldn't be the way to go. It wouldn't be nearly as impressive as some of the next ideas you'll see here in a second. If they did go this route, they would really need to make it big and worthwhile. Again, an expansion would be nice in the next couple of years or so, but not now.

Graphics Update

This was also another big rumor. And, I honestly don't see this happening because that would take way too much time, they'd have to shut the servers down for a while, spend a whole lot of money, and overall redo everything about it. (except the voiceovers) To be honest, I actually love the way it's animated, I don't really need it to be hyper-realistic. Considering the year it came out too, the graphics are stunning. I know most probably wouldn't agree with me on the graphics, but it's still one of my favorite parts of the game.

Continuing a Legacy

If you've seen ANY of the Star Wars trilogies (which I'm sure you all have, otherwise why are you here?) you know some people have fallen in love and had a legacy. Whether it's Padmé and Anakin or Han and Leia, there will always be that element because that adds a lot of element to the story. Being that SWTOR wanted it to be like that, a forge your own path, your own Star Wars story, they also added something of the sorts which really helped give character to the story. If you've completed a romance arc with any of the characters, most get married and talk of the future as in their legacy. This was a huge and far fetched rumor, but most people want to continue a story as the son/daughter of whoever your previous spouse was. This would be really cool and fall along the lines of redone stories but just added an extra one. I thought this would be a cool idea and it wouldn't be completely out of the question although unlikely. To make it easier to understand, let me provide an example. Say if you completed the romance with someone like Kira or Felix , they talk about their legacy. Once you've completed the class story, there could be an option to continue, which then you'd create a new character and there'd be some information like who your parents were. That would be very endearing and would really go more into depth on people's stories.

Addition of 2 New Classes

This would be super cool like the legacy one stated above. This was the number one theory and I would love to see it too. My concern, however, is what would the new classes be? Originally I thought maybe Jedi Sentinel, because in KOTOR Sentinel, Consular, and Guardian were each different classes, but in SWTOR it is already an advance class. Then maybe I thought, Republic Spy and Imperial Commando? Either way this would totally be doable without having to shut down servers and it would bring a lot of people to the game.

Final Thoughts:

Personally, I hope we either get the Legacy or 2 new classes, but it's probably unlikely. I honestly don't have a clue what it will turn out to be but I am still hopeful for something big :)
