Have you ever wondered what all of your favorite Force Wielders' lightsaber color meant? Read on to find out!
Blue
Blue. The most common type of lightsaber color in the movie adaptations. Most notably used by Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi. The blue lightsaber is used by the Jedi Guardians. The Jedi Guardians are more skilled in lightsaber technique and use the Force on more of a combative state or physical level. They were often the first ones called to battle.

Yellow
Yellow. This one is not ever seen in the movie adaptations except for Rey for a small moment. Most commonly used throughout the Old Republic by Jedi Sentinels. The Jedi Sentinels were basically an in-between with the Consulars and Guardians. They balanced both combat and Force abilities alike. The Sentinel class however, essentially died out through the years and wasn't considered a class anymore during the Prequel Era.

Green
Green. The color used by Luke Skywalker and the Grand Master Yoda. This color is used by the Jedi Consulars. Consulars focus more on Force abilities, knowledge of the Force, and reflection. They fought the Dark Side at its heart using their wisdom. They used their lightsabers as a last resort and prefer to negotiate rather than fight.

Purple
Purple. Only used by 1 in the films. But, most notably used by Mace Windu and Revan. Purple is a rather rare color, especially among the Jedi. For a Jedi, it means these are very strong-willed people who can balance both the dark and light pretty well. He/She can summon dark energy during combat while still controlling it. These Jedi must be very careful though, because if tipped one way a little too far, can be dire. For them, there is no room for excess emotions. For the Sith, it basically means the same thing but vice-versa. They aren't considered fully dark though either.

Red
Red. The color of the Sith. Used most widely known by Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine. The color Red isn't even natural for color crystals. They are either synthesized or bled until drained of light. It signals power, hatred, and other negative emotions. People who use this color are very ruthless.

Orange
Orange. Orange isn't associated with really any specific class. It has been speculated that Yaddle uses this color. Orange means the wielder is pure at heart and will NEVER use the lightsaber unless absolutely necessary. Other than that, orange is a very rare color that not much is known about it.

Did we miss any? And what's your favorite lightsaber color? Let us know!
