Could Obi-Wan be the true chosen one?

Here are listed some compelling arguments as to why Obi-Wan is the true chosen one:

Now, this article isn't about making a definite statement, it's simply to list some reasons as to how Obi-Wan could be the possible Chosen One!

First to defeat a Sith in over 1,000+ years

Not many people know this, but the Sith were thought to be extinct for 1,000+ years, making Obi-Wan the first to defeat. Actually, he didn't have to even pass the trials to get the rank of Knight, they simply gave it to him after his defeat. Considering everything, that is a very, very, tremendous accomplishment.

Overlooked

The whole council almost always overlooked Obi. They were all so focused on Anakin. The role of the Chosen One may not have been so obvious as it seems. And plus, the so called Chosen One didn't even fulfill his duty of bringing balance to the force.

Strongest Jedi?

Anakin, was supposed to be the strongest Jedi of his Era. BUT, Obi-Wan defeated him in a duel. So if Obi-Wan was even stronger than the strongest... Would that make him the most powerful Jedi?

Directing Luke

Now hear me out on this one. What if by guiding Luke, he indirectly brought back balance. By teaching Luke, he guided him to defeat the Empire. Without him, he might never had taken down Vader's army.

True Jedi

Despite being trained by Qui-Gon who was known to bend the Code, Obi-Wan followed the path of light to a Tee unlike Anakin. And he stayed true to the Jedi even though he had the most emotional trauma done to him. The prophecy states that the Chosen One is basically the epitome of light, and with all odds pitted against him, Obi Kenobi prevailed each time.
