What is the best Era in Star Wars?

Here we will be discussing what the best Era to exist in is, not including the movies or books interpretations. Just the era.

The Different Eras...

First, we need to start off with what the different Eras are: Before the Republic, The Old Republic, The Fall of the Republic/Rise of the Galactic Empire, The Galactic Empire/Rebellion Era, and the First Order/Resistance Era.

Before the Republic was a time of uncertainty as this was the dawn of civilization. There was always much conflict with settlers and the Rekata who enslaved almost every other species. This Era is out because of how hard it was to stay alive and live happily. In this time people weren't living, they were surviving.

The Old Republic was pretty good all things considered. The most Wars and most violent of them were during this time but this time was the longest running (27,000 - 1,000) BBY. The Jedi were protecting for most of that time except in the Dark Ages when ruled by Sith for a short period of time. They stay in because most of the time was peaceful and pleasant in most areas.

The Fall of the Republic/RIse of the Galactic Empire is when the prequels take place. Things were running pretty smoothly for a while except at then end when the Empire takes its place. This was a good time to be alive because before the actual rise of the Empire it was run well by the Republic Senate. It will stay in.

The Galactic Empire/Rebellion Era is when the original trilogy takes place. There are no Jedi to help the weak and no public opinions are allowed. If you respect the Empire you would be left alone but if not, there would be dire consequences. However, when the Rebellion comes and throws them over, it becomes nice again for a while. We'll let them stay in this race.

The First Order/Resistance Era is when the sequels take place. Though like the Empire, the First Order was even more ruthless. You had to watch your back no matter what and no one could really be trusted. They came in and obliterated entire societies for no reason. The Resistance after they overthrew the First Order didn't really get much going after that either. We'll throw this one out.

Now we are left with The Old Republic, The Fall of the Republic/Rise of the Galactic Empire, and the Galactic Empire/Rebellion Era. A time without any Jedi at all has proven to be terrible for society so I think the Galactic Empire is out too leaving us with The Old Republic and the Fall of the Republic/Rise of the Galactic Empire. These both were probably the best of times. During the Old Republic however, they were';t in as much Senate chaos and were more conflict free at times. But, During the prequel era they only had one major war, but in the end turned bad. I think we have a winner.

The Old Republic would have been the best time to live in. Great Jedi and Sith alike were in this, most of which the time was rather peaceful and pleasant!
